Waking up to Time

Many people have trouble remaining in a healthy relationship to time. Worried
about the future, feeling short of time, they are resisting time by not fully participating
in it. Unprepared for the present moment, they are missing deadlines, or
tend to be late. Goals and objective are difficult to meet. For some, the pressure of
time feels almost unbearable.

This course will offer tools to use time more wisely and meaningfully, transforming
the pressure of time felt at work, and more generally in life. Participants learn how
to transform unhealthy patterns that keep them trapped.

Learning Objectives:
• Acknowledge your usual patterns in time.
• Understand the nature, value and energy of time.
• Explore your own relationship to time and how to expand it in order to get
better results at work and in your personal life.

Topics:
1. Understanding the nature of time, see how the uniqueness of each moment will
help not to waste time at work, and to focus on what is most essential now.
2. Understanding and acting on the value of time, learn to appreciate time well
spent. As efficiency and accomplishment increase, joy and satisfaction are natural
responses.
3. Understanding how the energy of time helps you meet deadlines and goals.
4. Using time to wake up to the value of your life; living without regret.

Learning Activities include: theory, dialogue, individual exercises, reading, writing, reflections, guided imagery, relaxation exercises and Kum Nye yoga.
