History of Skillful Means in the West

Tarthang Tulku, a highly accomplished Tibetan Lama, introduced Skillful Means in the United States with the publication of the book Skillful Means (1976). This manual provides training in awareness, tools for change, and patterns for success. Since its publication, Skillful Means has been adopted for use in classrooms in over a hundred colleges, universities, and business schools and has been translated into Dutch, German, French, Hungarian, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish.
